NO. In fact, I would go so far as to say that black women don't even notice things like that...

As a traditional black woman (30s and up usually are), we are not taught these kinds of differences.

The famous Farah poster? I had never seen it until I got in college! When I grew up, as a very small child, Charlie's Angels was on and we all wanted to be Sabrina and thought Jaclyn Smith was the prettiest angel.

I have found recently (last 5 years) that blondes are particularly hateful to me and other black women, but not so in the past or majority of my life.

I don't know why.

The interactions I have with "tow headed" women have been in stores, in business, etc. I don't know why they have been so nasty of late.

Maybe because these women are younger and just more arrogant in general.

If you are white maybe you are giving off an arrogant vibe.

Black women are taught that women should be humble and we are quick to take offense to any arrogance, whether it be from a man or woman, no matter what his or her race or color.

It could even be the people you are around in that region.

I as Caucasian love everything about myself, but also admire the beauty and the hair-styles of the African women. But I know some 'black' girls, not African, who would have lighter and straight hair. I am an African American woman and I can honestly tell you how I feel. I don't hate blond-haired white women, nor do I hate any other woman of any other race. There is no reason for me to hate them. If you have encountered a black woman who has mistreated you, it may not be due to your hair color. It is possible that she treats all women (regardless of race) that way. Treat people as individuals. Just because one black woman seems to not like a blonde causasion doesn't mean all black women dislikes them.
