IS hair conditioner essensial in Natrual african american hair?

??? Does it make a diffwerence

IS hair conditioner essensial in Natrual african american hair?

definately!

we as african americans have problems with our hair getting dry, and its even worse with natural styles like fros, braids, dreads, etc.

so conditioning the hair becomes even more important when you have natural styles.

in addition to the conditioner you use, try olive oil or coconut oil. it works great. keeps the hair moisturized and healthy.

if you dont condition it, it will be rough, dry, and brittle, which causes more breakage and hinders the growth process.

go to the beauty supply store and look for some good products for natural african american hair. or ask your stylist what they recommend.

good luck :)

First of all...African hair is African hair. In other words, don't think just because you're American means your hair is different from all other ***** hair. And natural is natural. Yes, conditioner is essential and so is making sure it isn't dry. So oil it well.

Next time when posing a question about your hair, ixnay on the 'African-American' description. African is just fine. Understand???????

yes and no...for some it is, for others it isn't. everyone's hair reacts differently to different routines and/or products.

i haven't really used conditioner for awhile now and my hair is actually better (probably because i'm using natural products now). I haven't found a natural conditioner that i like, but i do deep condition my hair once a month with organic root stimulator's replenishing conditioner. other than that i use shikai everyday shampoo and that's moisturizing enough for my hair because it doesn't contain any of the drying agents that some other shampoos contain.
