Good question! I used to wonder myself lol. Its different because of geographic location, climates etc that our ancestors had to adapt to in the 2 continents of Europe and Africa. In europe the majority climate is cold, and the people of this region had hair that lays straight down covering ears and falling on the neck (Asian hair does the same but the color and strand thickness is different) . Also if u notice some people of European desent often times have lighter eyes; a trait common in caucasion people (of course many people are of mixed origin so its a bit different currently). African American people of have hair of all sorts of textures due to the diaspora, however the tighly coiled hair dark hair was an adaptation to living in the hot climates of Africa. There was no need for hair to fall downward due to the weather and their hair grew up and out making it appear "shorter" and lambswool like. When gently pulled out, the true length is very evident. umm ...not to be rude but im not black nor white im tan....but there hair color is black (african) b-cuz there black i guess nd white ppl have blonde hair cuzz they dont look good in black i guess idk good question though

Because it's in their race's genetic build up.

Think of asians, all of them have dead straight, black hair.

Irish people are pale and alot have red or blonde hair.

Latino people are tanned.

Chinese people are tiny.

It's just how people were made. And nothing to do with the people IN GENERAL.

African american people tend to have coarse hair. But alot of australians, white americans, or other races do sometimes aswell.

That's just how it is.

I dunno the answer to that one, but someone in an answer commented on the underarm hair. I always wondered my most black women never shaved their arm pits. I didn't know if it was some kind of french wanna-be thing or what?

But I later found out since their hair is so kinky that when they shave it tends to curl back in and give them ingrown hair on their pits. Ouch... so I try my best not to be grossed out now in summer when you see them in tank tops, cuz no one likes ingrown hair or razor burn on their pits.
