My nice would like to have longer hair but when it gets so long it frizzes out. What can we do about this? Is there something we can use to pevent this?

Well for one- she doesn't need her hair washed everyday. Please don't wash it every day or every other day. Once a week or once every 2 weeks should be good enough. Also, deep condition it. Aveda has a great deep conditioner which works the best on my hair- I am 1/2 black as well. Some people also use hot oil treatments but she's 6 and she probably won't need that as much yet. After she washes it use olive oil and frizz-ease and she needs to keep her hair moisturized!!! Don't use petrolium or something that has mineral oil listed in the first 5 ingredients because it only coats the hair and then dries it out super fast.

Try weekly conditioning. Get a shower cap and smother the hair with conditioner. Then put on the shower cap and leave the conditioner in for about half and hour to an hour. Then rinse it out. It keeps it full of moisture.
