nope..you can use anything.

i tend to stick toward hair color products that are cream based if i do use a dye, but i like color cremes that you can put on there and last for about a month or so. this works best because we crave moisture in our hair.

try creme or mousse color treatments that aren't super harsh. however, regular brands will color your hair but..moisture is what you want as well.

...just be sure to condition your hair well to maintain it's strength... ethnic hair NEEDS moisture...
