i don't know if it will help your relaxer, but it will make your hair incredibly soft, as well as hydrate it and give it a pleasent smell. i use africa's best or organics hair mayo, it's a light orange color, with an orange label. comes in a little plastic jar w/ a green top.

What kind of conditioner.. leave-in or the conditioner to wash your hair with?? I dont use relaxers but for conditioner I use Creme of Nature you can get it at walmart and it moisturizes your hair and contains organic products and plant extracts in it.. I like to let it sit in my hair for a few minutes then wash it out,and it will detangle too. And I think it makes my hair look healther. For leave-in..i use Aveda, and Paul Mitcell "The Cream" they are kinda expensive ($12-20).
