Why? Well, simply put because we are afraid of race still as a society.

Truth is many people are mixed, Mexicans for instance.

Mexicans are by majority "mestizo" or mixed Native Indigineous/European.

Not all white people have completely white ancestors like in the case of the Italians.

All of this is controversial and makes people uncomfortable.

My wife is Black, Jewish, and Mohawk, and has asked the same question you have dozens of times.

She uses a mild hair relaxer such as the type for children, and a hair rinse like Natural Instincts for color.

She has found that Garnier products actually are good for her hair and Vaseline intensive care is a great lotion.

I wish I could be more help, but I would have to write all night.

GOOD LUCK!
