1) Rubberband way-section your hair in small squares with rubberbands and twist as it grows with locking ointment.
2) add extentions and twist as it grows with locking ointment.
3) Call the professionals...Look in you yellow pages for a natural stylist.
If you want nice locks....#3 is the best way.

I would suggest going to a locktician (like a hair stylist, but they specialize in people with locks or locking to get locks) for a consultation in your area. Check out www.essence.com and look at the Salon section for good listings in your area. Unless you know someone who already has locks, and is willing to twist your hair (to lock it), your best bet is to go see someone who specializes in it. Hope I've helped!

neglect is the best way. i got them for a short while after neglecting my hair once and i didn't even want them. not brushing your helps :)
