What's a good deep conditioner to use for african american hair?

Well I'm a mix of Indian and black (Trini) and I recently made a mistake of putting a perm in my hair - wrong move.. it completely broke some of my hair up.. does anyone know a good deep conditioner to use to restore it without having to cut it :??? I'm currently using Carols' daughter..

I use a product called The 60 second repair. It can be found in wal-mart by the hair grease. Although it says to leave it in your hair for a minute I usually leave it for 15-20 minutes.

I use the Garnier Fructis fortifying deep conditioner 3-minute masque [that's the exact name] and I mixed some olive oil in with it. I usually leave it in for an hour or 2 [with a shower cap around my head] and my hair is so soft afterwards.
