your hair is growing it's just breaking off as it grows. it's hard to get past shoulder length hair because it is always brushing against your shoulders, collar, and other things which causes it to split and break off. get your split ends trimmed off and start to do protective styles (styles that keep the hair off the shoulder); such as twists %26amp; buns, this will get you to see your hair grow pass your shoulders

well i had a bad hair cut and had to grow my hair out and i used these tottally natural pills!!! There called SHIN MIN HAIR NUTRIENT its kinda got a pink label! and the best thing is you can get it at wal-mart!! or any where!

Make sure you get a shampoo with a stylist every week or so. They can get your hair really long.

Use a really good salon shampoo/conditioner and if you want you can take some hair vitamins that say they can get your hair to grow around an inch a month instead of it's regular half an inch. Also I suggest reading a good book on african american hair. Look on amazon.com. Hope this helps 'cause I was having the same problem.
